Preparing outdoors is such a great feeling, especially during the summer and autumn months. There’s something about being outside, getting everything ready and watching it all come together.

Winter? Not quite the same when you’re battling the cold!

Had such great fun today, racing against time and the impending arrival of guests. There’s always that little bit of pressure to get everything done, but somehow that makes it even more exciting.

There’s just something special about preparing an outdoor space and getting it ready to welcome people.

The transformation was completed on schedule, with every bespoke floral installation carefully positioned to enhance the barn's impressive architecture. The natural rope, flowing greenery and delicate gypsophila blended beautifully with the exposed beams and rustic surroundings, creating a design that felt as though it truly belonged within the space.

Seeing the couple's reaction made every hour of planning, designing and installing worthwhile. They absolutely loved the finished result, and knowing the décor exceeded their expectations made for an incredibly satisfying and inspiring day. Behind the scenes of transforming this beautiful barn for a wedding.

The couple wanted a rustic, elegant feel that embraced natural materials, with rope incorporated throughout the floral designs to complement the character of the venue. From the moment I viewed the barn, I could see the potential. Its imposing entrance, soaring ceilings and exposed timber beams provided the perfect canvas for bespoke floral installations.

A detailed consultation ensured I fully understood the couple's vision before designing pieces that would enhance the space while remaining sympathetic to the building's heritage and wedding theme.

Every installation was individually measured, designed and handmade to fit the unique dimensions of the barn. Careful planning, accurate measurements and years of experience were essential to ensure everything fitted perfectly and was installed safely.

The decorating process was esgimated to take approximately three and a half hours from start to finish, with every detail completed before the couple arrived, allowing them to experience the transformation for the first time together.
