This is one of my customers original 1958 Tweed Deluxe! The only thing that was updated was the mains transformer which is 240V. He still has the original 120V USA transformer.

There is also an original Jensen speaker but the customer opted for a 60's Vox Blue speaker.

It sounds so vintage and loud! Look at the patina on the control panel! So nice. The tweed covering is also beautifully knackered :)

If you want to gig amps as old as this, I always recommend you change the filter capacitors. In this case it's the three large Mallory caps. What you can do to make it look authentic is to take the guts out of the original caps and slide the cardboard sleeve over a new one to keep it looking original.

Probably wont see another like this for a long time.

This valve amplifier was built from scratch by me. It is a reproduction of a late 50's Fender amplifier.

The circuit board is made from phenolic fibre which is like a paper type material. The holes and rivets were punched in by hand and the components were soldered point to point.

The cabinet was made by my good friend Dickie Wall and covered with a tweed cloth and striped grill cloth.

This Strat needed a major service as the baggage handlers used it to play baseball!

The neck needed adjustment via truss rod and the switch was bent and needed fixing.
Once the neck was straightened and the correct amount of relief was incorporated, I set out after that polishing frets, bridge components etc... resoldered dry joints etc...

This Stratocaster was only produced for one year in this style. A real collector.

This started life a silverface, but has been fitted with blackface cosmetics.
The tolex and grill cloth has rips and tears which is quite normal for a used amplifier of its age. Apart from that, everything is original.

I have for sale an original Fender Twin Reverb Silverface dated 1979.
It is in excellent condition and it is extremly loud and very heavy!
This is the Ultra Linear type which is rated at 135 watts.

It also benefits from a line out/recording jack socket. The grill cloth has been replaced due to rips and has been fitted with the orginal turquoise style grill cloth. Apart from that, everything is original.
