ALL ABOUT HAIR
Did you know that there is a National Hair Day on 1 October, but why wait till then to take care of your hair.
Since ancient times women have had an obsession with their hair, Cleopatra even washed her hair with donkey’s milk. Today many women find that their hair is high maintenance, because the way you wear your hair defines who you area.
I am sure everyone would love to have shinny and healthy hair. Hair washing is so much more than just cleaning your hair, it’s like therapy for all us. Here are a few tips for washing your hair:
Make sure you rinse your hair thoroughly with water prior to shampooing, as shampoo lathers better on wet hair and spreads evenly. By doing this you will notice that you require less shampoo to wash your hair.
Use lukewarm water to rinse your hair, warm water will help open the hair cuticles so that the shampoo can pe*****te deeper and remove the dirt and oil from your hair. The cuticles will be able to absorb the oil and moisturising of the conditioner.
Try avoid using shampoo directly on your scalp, rather mix it with a little water, this will ensure that the shampoo spreads evenly throughout the scalp.
