Consequently we take enormous care in all aspects of pre-production, scanning, printing and binding to produce the very best books possible. We've been selling books and illustration art for over 40 years. We started trading in 1973 as Conquistador and were incorporated in 2001 and trade as The Book Palace. Our wide range of prestigious illustrated books covers book and comic illustration and incl

udes first editions, limited editions and signed books. We are the proud publishers of illustrators, the sumptuous art quarterly featuring the world's finest illustrators and their art. We also publish highly collectable illustrated books under the Book Palace Books imprint with our growing list (see below) of Limited Editions produced to a very high standard. Our excellent contacts and know-how mean that we can often source out-of-print, back-catalogued illustrated books and limited editions that are otherwise unavailable.

Great to pop into and see what a thriving bookshop environment it is!
If you have never been, Daunt in London’s Marylebone is well worth a visit and boasts not only a huge travel section, but also a wonderfully hand picked fiction, general and fabulous children’s section! …unfortunately there isn’t really space for graphic novels/ comics and illustration art so our Book Palace Books don’t get a look in, however for all other genres and a wonderful bookshop experience it is a must go. We’ve awarded Daunt 8 Hot Parrots!
