Let's stay truthful to ourselves, so we don't hurt ourselves with our own lies!
What things do you lie to yourself about?
Find them, understand why, then let it go and feel great relief with this practice. If your mind is racing so fast that the idea meditation seems farfetched to say the least, then you could help train your mind to focus on one thing at a time. These kinds of healthy questions that helps you grow as a person, could be a great start!
Breathe soft and deep breaths.
Do this 5 times, count each breath and follow where it goes in your body.
If it feels good keep going, stop at about 8 or 10 breaths.
Then you'll find yourself a bit more relaxed and focused. This is a great time to ask those important questions.
No matter how ugly the truth or how said answer may make you feel. Just look for a why. Why am I ....... ? Then start with those 'soft' deep breaths.
Don't expect an answer straight away, be patient, come back to this and ask again and again till you understand yourself more and more. Learn about who you are. What do you stand for, if you stand for anything? Where do you want to go in life? What don't you want, where don't you want to be in life by the end of 2020? And so on, you tailor the questions to your own needs. Please don't skip the breathing part!! That's where the magic happens π«π
