Barbican Chimes: Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm, Saturday 9-5pm, Sunday 12-5pm As one of the few remaining independent music shops in London we take great pride in being able to offer a personal, efficient and knowledgeable service. Our staff are qualified musicians and our six senior members of staff have over 100 years experience in the trade between them.

Easter update: Kensington Chimes is open today until 17:30 and then we are closed for Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. We reopen as normal from Tuesday 7th April 9am. A lovely programme this coming Saturday 21st March for The Addison Singers Spring Concert 2026! A programme of works celebrating the best of modern British composition and composer’s native to, or associated with Prague, where the Classical Choi s will tour to in May 2026. The programme includes the Dixit Dominus & Magnificat in C by Mozart, a selection of British items and it will conclude with Dvorak’s Mass on D Major, which is a favourite of British choirs.
