Seasonality is something we embrace at The Hampstead Butcher. This is why we love BRAMLEY EDITIONS ; a small- batch, chef-led project that champions high quality uk ingredients from small producers. Like the best meat, everything here has provenance.

Each ‘edition’ is different, as is each season. Our shops all have the latest Summer edit. This features deliciousness like wild garlic sea salt, summer pickles, peach compote and cherry shrub aperitif.

These guys take ingredients seriously, and their flavour palette will enrich any food lover’s kitchen.

Whilst we’re not ones to wish our lives away, we do kind of miss the look of our shops at night.

Here’s Hampstead looking pretty all lit up. Cosy autumn will soon be upon us. And we’re ok with that.

Congratulations on surviving a 5th heatwave (we’re losing count too). It’s feeling a little cooler today and we’re loving it.

Whilst we’re grateful for the sun, a spot of rain wouldn’t go amiss now. It’s been hot for dogs, hot for humans and hot for perishable food items.

We’re open till 6pm in all locations. And we may be doing a rain dance🕺

Behold the towers of Ortiz!

We’re shining a light on the amazing anchovies and tuna of Conservas Ortiz . For the next couple of weeks each shop will have its own shrine /display.

These amazing products are sustainably farmed, packed full of good fats/oils, and utterly delicious. They also look beautiful. If you want a proper taste of the Spanish coastline, look no further.

Saturday is platter-day. And boy do we have some beauties on taste today.

West Hampstead (first pic) lines up with Lord London on chive crackers, Monroyo Serrano ham and Snowdonia Cheese Co. Truffle Trove cheddar.

Muswell features 15 month aged Gruyère, salame finocchiona and aged manchego.

If you’ve got kids, the thought of a sit down meal in a restaurant can be daunting. Especially in this glorious weather.

So we recommend heading to The Great Outdoors, packing a picnic, and letting them roam free range.

We’ve got delicious snacks and beverages for children of all ages (including ourselves!) such as Goldfish crackers, juice, biscuits, dried fruit and crisps. Check out TORRES SELECTA | Premium Potato Chips fried egg crisps for extra fun points.
