Caring for the soil - which has always been at the heart of what we do - is the foundation of organic farming 🌱

Through our long-standing partnerships with farming communities, we’ve seen firsthand how organic practices benefit both the land and the people behind it. Now, we’re taking this commitment further by working with CGIAR (Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research) and rA (responsAbility) to truly understand and measure the impact of organic farming.

Together, we’re exploring what happens beneath the surface - from soil fertility to carbon capture - using Soil Organic Carbon as a key indicator of soil health. Our project spans 24 dedicated farmer representatives across four diverse agro-climatic regions of Sri Lanka, reflecting the richness of our soil ecosystems.

By deepening our knowledge and supporting our farmers, we’re nurturing the soil, our teas, and sustainable livelihoods. This is our step towards real sustainability - caring for 25% of the world’s biodiversity that lives in the soil, and shaping a more resilient future for organic farming. 🍃

🫐 White Tea, Blueberry & Elderflower paired with fresh blueberry muffins - a delicious combination that is something truly special!

Bake it, pack it up, take it over, and enjoy it together. 🤲

Makes 6 Muffins

→ Muffins:
110 g plain flour (plus extra for blueberries)
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
90 g Greek yogurt
75 g caster sugar
1 large egg
40 ml vegetable oil
30 ml milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
110 g blueberries

→Crumble topping:
30 g plain flour
45 g brown sugar
⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
30 g unsalted butter, cubed

→ Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a muffin tray with muffin/cupcake cases.

→ Make the muffins:
In a medium bowl, whisk together your dry ingredients.
In a large bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.
In a small bowl, coat the blueberries with ½ teaspoon flour.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the blueberries. Use a scoop to divide the batter into the 6 muffin cups.

→ Make the crumble topping:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Use your hands or a fork to work in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.

→ Evenly sprinkle the muffins in the tray with the crumble topping.

→ Bake for around 17 to 20 minutes, or until the tops spring back to the touch and a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean. Let cool in the tray for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Our organic blueberries are sustainably sourced from Germany and masterfully blended with 100% organic ingredients, white tea, lemongrass and elderflower, creating the most delicate harmony of flavours.
This exquisite blend offers a sweet and fruity bouquet, perfect for moments of tranquillity and indulgence. Brew at 80 degrees for 2-3 minutes for the best flavour.
