Mary designs colourful A-Z prints, book stacks and tea towels with her distinctive illustrations. She also has an amazing range of scented candles.

Local author Lucy will be joining us with her children’s books picture books and chapter books all published by her company Brilliant Monsters Books. They are designed to be empathy led, accessible and inclusive books for children 3-8 years

Aimee sews from her home in west London, mostly making cushions and scented lavender bags. Her cushions are made using luxurious velvets, linens and cottons in a variety of prints. Her lavender bags are either embroidered or made with the remnants and off-cuts from her cushion making

Angela sews fabulous funky bags and accessories, each beautifully crafted, creating colourful and joyful gifts for everyone. No fabric is wasted, as all remains are used to create pin cushions or gift tags. Check out her cute reindeer treat bags & fabulous velvet jewellery rolls.

Naomi works from her garden studio in west London making small batch, wheel thrown, functional and decorative ceramics incorporating the use of etched metal. Her choice of glaze finishes are inspired by her love of the Cornish coastline.

Charlotte is inspired by our fabulous local architecture. She has a range of stylised Illustrations of West London, which are available as prints, cards or tea towels. Check out her new wooden bus decorations & Northfields illustrated tea towel.

Nargis creates handcrafted statement jewellery and accessories made for people who love colour! Everything is designed to be comfortable and wearable, from the smallest studs to the largest statement pieces.

Alisha from Present Your Joy has created a luxury home fragrance and self-care brand creating hand-poured candles and body products that inspire moments of peace, happiness, and connection. Each product is thoughtfully crafted with ethically sourced, vegan-friendly ingredients to elevate your space and uplift your spirit.

Most of the vessels are thrown on the wheel with some made using the kurinuki technique. Sylvie is drawn towards iron-rich, black, and very coarse clay bodies that yield distinctive textures and tones. She is influenced by traditional Korean and Japanese ceramics. All her pieces are functional and high fired either in oxidation, in gas or wood reduction in an anagama kiln. She wants her pots to bring joy to the eye and hand of the user and very much hopes her pots get used rather than sleep on a safe shelf.

After a fabulous Northfields Night Market on 15th November, Home of Modern Makers ARE BACK on 6th December.

So good, we booked it twice!

Home of Modern Makers was formed by 6 Designer friends when the independent gift shop in Ealing, All Original, where we all sold our work, closed suddenly in 2023.

Sharing our wealth of experience and creativity we have, over the past 24 months, created a series of West London Pop Up Markets.

We will be bringing you a collection of unique gift ideas from 15 carefully curated Designers including Ceramics, Prints, Jewellery, Textiles, Handknitted Children’s Wear and Vintage Collectibles to name a few.

Note the time, we are staying open late for you!
