Come down and join us to celebrate the rich creativity, culture, and heritage of Chrisp Street and Poplar in these free-to-attend summer events, with something for all ages to take part in and enjoy!

– A truly diverse range of participants, including many seldom-heard voices
– And an overwhelmingly positive response from the community

Get ready for the next event for Chrisp Street!

- you’re invited to two Chrisp Street Co-design Events to help shape a shared vision for Chrisp Street - and we want to hear from you!

On Thursday 29 May 2025 from 2pm to 8pm - AND Saturday 31 May 2025 from 11am to 4pm, we will hold an activity packed, multi-day community co-design event, to help shape the vision for Chrisp Street.

Find us in the former ShoeZone unit on Market Square!

You will be able to post your comments on a giant wall map, sit down with the design team to draw your ideas, and take part in lots of other fun and interactive activities for all age groups throughout each day!

We remain committed to the future of Chrisp Street Market and the delivery of a vibrant place to live, work, and visit. We are now embarking on a new vision for the site. 🌟 JTP Architects has been appointed on behalf of Telford Living to develop a new vision masterplan for the comprehensive redevelopment of Chrisp Street and to prepare a new planning application for a residential-led, mixed-use scheme. 🌟 Our goal is to submit the planning application to Tower Hamlets Council early next year. Subject to obtaining planning permission, Telford Living will be able to embark on the next stage of the redevelopment of Chrisp Street, bringing the vision to life over the coming years. 🌟 Following last year’s economic and regulatory uncertainty, we’re now confident that we are in a stronger position to work with the community to redevelop the site and bring much-needed new homes and ground floor uses to Chrisp Street. 🌟 We are now re-engaging with the community to ensure that residents and businesses have their say and help shape the future of Chrisp Street. 🌟 Stay up to date via socials and the new website - see link in bio.
