Love this one of Katie in the ivory Dorothy. Katie saw in the same dress and came from Wimbledon to Islington. We shortened, opened the sleeve vents and moved the button and she collected it from Parsons Green yesterday. If you’re going to Epsom races and see Katie say hi!

Isn’t it wonderful when someone from your past pops up as a customer again!

When I sold mainly vintage clothes at fairs Valentina bought a couple of pieces from me including a Jean Muir dress.

Years later ie recently she came by the shop and recognised the name.

She lives locally and whilst the jumpsuit we made her a few weeks back was loose and a bit baggy (super cool) the green wool crepe Dorothy is her true size 4.

Shen - a belated happy Chinese New Year to you and all
who are celebrating - or who celebrated!

Shen in the beautiful wide-legged jumpsuit. We used to do the wide-legged version before we did the narrow leg when it felt that the narrow leg (still not really narrow) was more practical. Practical yes wow factor not quite as much.

Shen spotted this in January and grabbed it. Shen is a really great shopper and a lovely lady to boot!

Shen is wearing the size 8 tall.

The wide legged version is perfect for weddings! 😀

A blast from the past. Valentina bought a vintage Jean Muir dress from me at Clerkenwell Vintage Fair in 2010 and recognised my name when she walked past the shop a couple of weeks ago.

She’s so petite but liked this size 8 being a lose fit. She’s now ordered a Dorothy in the green wool crepe in a size 4.

So glad she’s comfortable in this one.

I can’t resist this one. Bonnie living her best life at the end of her life. She’s in the window when one has to say goodbye. I’ve put it off once already - it was going to be this Monday coming and I can’t bear it so we’ve put it off a week. Wish me luck. The acupuncturist this morning said if I put it off one more week it’ll be ok but anything more is literally dicing with death. So I’ve given us a reprieve.

For all of you who have sadly gone through this before with your pets - I sympathise and my heart goes out to you even more than it did before - and for those of you for whom it’s yet to come - just love them as much as you can until then.
