So incase I haven’t gone on about it enough.. I recently got married to this beautiful man and it was the absolute best! We were surrounded by friends and family who put their whole hearts into celebrating with us! I wanted to talk for a minute about my outfit because the entire thing was second hand. My dress and veil were from a charity shop, St Catherine’s hospice in Horsham, and it fit like a dream! The only thing that was altered were the amount of tiers off the shoulders, as you can see there are only 2 and there were 3, my amazing maid of honour altered that for me! This shop was amazing with a whole floor dedicated to bridal wear, there were even dresses with labels still on! My shoes were second hand Dr Martens and I wore jewellery I already owned. I’m not saying everyone should wear second hand but for me it made sense. The wedding industry is pretty crazy and it’s easy to get swept up in it. The more you think about how many amazing dresses that have been worn only once that are out there it’s mad!
I loved every minute in this dress. (Photo by the very talented who I would highly recommend!!)
