The truth is that Greek coffee is an Arabic coffee originated from Yemen. From there in the 16th century this coffee was introduced to Turkey and Greece that was then under Ottomans’ occupation. Since then, this coffee remains something very special for people’s daily life in Greece.

Home-made pasta was always a necessary part of the Greek larder. Pasta was made by Greek mamas at the end of the summer and dried, ensuring there was plenty of food throughout the winter.

Terpsi pasta products are made of durum wheat semolina, fresh eggs and milk and contain no preservatives. Thankfully, there are still some few small factories holding on to the tradition of making pure Pasta. This is where our pasta comes from..

Spicy Beef This is a common recipe for all the spicy food lovers out there! Tip: Add some Greek yoghurt to balance spiciness.

Ingredients
700g of Beef steak in pieces
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
50ml of olive oil
2 tablespoon of barbecue mix
One teaspoon of chili powder
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method
1. Preheat oven to 200˚C
2. Cut the peppers into pieces.
3. In a bowl combine the beef steak with the pepper pieces, olive oil, barbecue mix, chili powder salt and black pepper.
4. Cook in the preheated oven 40 to 45 minutes, flipping at the halfway point. 5. Serve with Greek yoghurt and enjoy
