Here we have some photos from our first ever Oxfam Victoria book launch!! was absolutely wonderful, thank you so much for the insight you gave us into your writing, especially your new novel, The Watch On the Beach. Emily is an amazing author and we all urge you to check out her work! She was also so generous in giving us lots of copies of her novels to sell in our shop, helping us raise money for Oxfam ☺️

Thank you also to our lovely volunteers who stayed late to help out with the event, and of course, everyone who attended and made the event worthwhile ☺️ there were almost 20 attendees in total!

Here at Oxfam Victoria, we were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of former Labour Minister, and regular to our shop, Frank Field. Frank was always up for a chat with staff and customers alike, and was particularly interested in books about tackling injustice. We are sure that his presence in his local community around Strutton Ground will be sorely missed.
