The more observant amongst you will have noticed that we've not been around much over the last few months. Earlier this year I was offered a job working for a local charitable organisation that works to promote re-use and recycling - reducing the amount of stuff sent to landfill. Our original plan was that Margaret would continue to run Help Empty My Attic on a smaller scale, focussing mainly on bears and local fairs with me helping at larger events such as Hugglets, Sandown Park Toy Fair, the Motorcycle Museum Doll and Teddy fair and so on. Unfortunately my work role has been more demanding that we expected and it has proven difficult to maintain the business whilst working full time. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to wind things up with Help Empty My Attic. In a nice 'full circle' kind of way, our last fair was the December Pudsey Toy Fair - almost exactly 10 years since the first fair that we did there. So, we'd like to thank everybody for their custom and/or support along the way. We've met some fantastic people and will miss you all. Take care. Have a lovely Christmas and New Year.
