Last time Maria B. showed a kaftan, the fabric that arrived was only enough for a normal kameez.
We tried everything - it wasn’t possible, and the customer ended up disappointed.

This new launch is showing the same kaftan-style cut again, so I’m saying this upfront:
unless they actually send kaftan-length fabric this time, you will only get a kameez.

For this one, I didn’t use the full border - if I had, the length would’ve been way too long on me.
So I kept the cleanest section of it and adjusted the length accordingly.

This is exactly why proportions matter more than “using everything the designer gives.”

If you’re shorter and need a 46/48 inch length, this is how we keep the border looking intentional instead of drowning you.
And if you’re tall and need a 53–54 inch length, that’s when we can use the full border the way it was designed.

Basically - whatever your height, I’ll make sure this suit sits right on you.

We customised this one - shorter trousers, matching dupatta -but we stopped there.
The client wanted the shirt length reduced too, and we said no.
Because once a design loses its proportion or embroidery flow, it’s not the same outfit anymore.

Every customisation we take on is done thoughtfully - the goal is to enhance the outfit, not compromise it.

Okay so… can we please discuss how some designers still think the average Pakistani woman wants to walk into a family dinner looking like she’s about to audition for a music video? 😭
Like honestly … who is wearing these open-back, sleeveless, sheer-on-sheer pieces to a mehndi where half the rishtay aunties are sitting with binoculars?? Be serious pls.

Anyway. Rant over.
