"When our beloved son died in a tragic accident at the age of 28, we were devastated by our loss. Wishing to have some tangible reminder of his physical presence, we decided to take a casting of his hands whilst his body lay at rest. We contacted The Edinburgh Casting studio to see if they could rush a casting kit to us as soon as possible. This they did, not only sending the pack by express delivery but (realising that we only had one opportunity to take the casting) also including a refill pack in case the first attempt didn't work.

To our relief, the funeral directors managed to get a great casting of the handclasp using the kit. We were so pleased with it that we later decided that we wanted it to be cast into real bronze. Again, the Edinburgh Casting Studio handled this for us.

We are so grateful for the compassion and understanding of the staff, at what was an extremely difficult time. With their support and guidance we now have a beautiful object that we will cherish in the years to come." Catriona Duke

BEWARE OF CHEAP IMITATIONS! We're so sorry for those of you have bought poor quality, tiny kits thinking they were ours. Here's a very clear visual guide to what you should be looking for when you order a hand casting kit. Nice big buckets with our bright pink branding, plenty of premium materials, and really clear instructions. And if it's super cheap, it's not one of our UK-made casting kits.
