And on the last day she flew in front of a building that’s been standing since 1886. 🏛️

Grand Hotel Continental — one of the first luxury hotels in Bucharest, where in 1912 the first president of Albania drafted the Albanian Independence documents. History lives in these walls. 🖤

Romania closed its castles on me. Bulgaria opened its cathedral. 🙏✨

This is St. Alexander Nevsky in Sofia — one of the most breathtaking interiors I have ever stood inside. Gold chandeliers, ancient frescoes floor to ceiling, and a dome that makes you feel incredibly small in the best possible way. 🇧🇬

Romania, you broke my heart a little here. 😭❄️

1 hour from Brașov. Up a mountain. Through the snow. Easter weekend.

Peleș Castle — closed. 🔒

And the worst part? I’m leaving for Bulgaria tomorrow. So this one… I don’t get to come back for. 💔

Corvin Castle closed on me too but at least I came back the next day and got in. This time I just have to accept it and go. 🏰

Some castles are just not meant for you on that trip. Maybe that’s what makes you come back to Romania. 🇷🇴

Brașov stopped me in my tracks. 🏰

Medieval streets, baroque facades, a Gothic church that’s been standing since the 1300s — and a mountain that literally has the city’s name on it like a fantasy novel cover. 🇷🇴

This is Transylvania at its most cinematic. Every corner looks like a world a game designer dreamed up. Every stone has a story written into it.

And then I turned around inside the Black Church… and found a dragon already waiting. 🐉

Made it to the top of Sighișoara Clock Tower. 🏰

But the best part wasn’t the view — it was what I found on the way up.

Every floor has an exhibition showing how people lived here centuries ago. The tools. The jewellery. The everyday objects of a life lived in medieval Transylvania. 🇷🇴

As a jewellery designer, standing in front of centuries old pieces made entirely by hand… it hits differently. 💎🐉

This is exactly why I travel. Not just to see beautiful places — but to understand the hands that built them. ✨

But the Clock Tower wasn’t going to see itself. ❄️🏰
