Gordon Hunt, renowned British Oboist, announced his retirement from playing at IDRS earlier this year.

Gordon's career has spanned over 40 years and has made a lasting impact on the world of music. Having played in and conducted orchestras all over the world, the influence of Gordon's career is widespread and is sure to be long lasting.

Gordon's final concert took place on 24th July with the London Chamber Orchestra as part of the Music in the Burnhams Festival Week.

Howarth of London has been so proud to have been represented by such an outstanding musician throughout his career.
