Across the yard in the main shop our salvaged timber gets more decorative. The vast collection of Victorian framemakers’ moulds we’ve bought has gone on display and caused quite a stir. has just featured the collection on their website. LASSCO Flooring has returned to a new showroom in Brunswick House, Vauxhall having final left the arches in Bermondsey.

The showroom and all the timber samples will be available to view at Brunswick House, from 9 – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

What look rivals the symbiotic combination of tropical house plant and equatorial parquet floors, in contemporary interior design?

In this case it is Ficus Elastica aka the Rubberplant in tandem with Iroko parquet. Iroko is native to the tropical coast of West Africa and Rubberplant can be found growing wild in the Amazonian rainforests of South America. However this Iroko block specifically was salvaged from a Catholic Cathedral in Middlesborough and our house plant seems perfectly at home here in this Greenwich interior. All tied together with a distinctly practical British G-Plan sideboard. No Danes here please!
