'huddle rugs' are perfectly sized, brightly knitted blankets that will keep your babies-up-to-toddlers warm, cosy and cuddled in their prams and
buggies. 'huddle rugs' don’t drag on the floor getting caught
up in buggy wheels (an end to fighting with a big blanket that's cleverly wrapped itself around the wheel without you knowing until you can't move the pram!). Hand-made by my lovely mum, my 92-year-
old granny and me, a mum of two small boys (help), we love the idea of
trying to help keep the art of knitting alive and our joy is to use
fun, bold and bright colours - pastels and boys do not go together.
'huddle rug minis' - a funky blanket for your little ones' favourite cuddly-toy. These work particularly well when there's a new baby on the scene - the baby gets the 'huddle rug' and then the possibly slightly put-out older brother or sister gets a 'huddle rug mini' for their toy, works a treat!
And while I was at it, anything I could think to knit I have! A knitted ring might help brighten up an over-worked mum’s day; there's some flower brooches, knitted art and birthday cards too. Hope you enjoy them all.
