2025 Summary

My 2025 felt gentle, intentional and aligned.

I proved to myself that I could build an authentic brand without constant posting.

I moved to Kent and embraced a slower, more peaceful rhythm of life.

Work flowed, classes and wig orders came in.
I connected with inspiring business owners who already knew my work (still so surreal)

I poured my knowledge into a workbook for beauty service providers, digital version coming in the new year.

And I made space for joy, travel and fun… something I’ll be doing even more of in 2026.

Grateful for the growth, excited for what’s next 🤍

In 2019, I had reached complete overcapacity, working a full-time job while running a full-time wig business.

Making 40+ wigs by hand, with each wig taking between 2 to 4 hours, was no longer efficient or sustainable. I found myself seriously contemplating leaving my 9–5.

But I also had a bigger vision. I still aspired to become a chartered accountant, so quitting wasn’t an option. I had to find a way to make both dreams work and that was the turning point.

In 2020, I invested in a sewing machine and gave myself 30 days to start fulfilling customer orders using it. Through faith, prayer, consistency, and determination, I made it happen.

Fast forward to today: I can make wigs in under 15 minutes, and I’m now a part-qualified chartered accountant working full-time as a Finance Manager, with just a few exams left to complete.

Moral of the story: You don’t always have to choose between your dreams, sometimes the real growth comes from upgrading your systems, trusting the process, and committing to evolve.
