I invited to exhibit over 40 drawings of plants and weeds that he drew mostly on walks on the Heath. I was struck by how intense they looked all together and I imagine they will make a wild and spectacular exhibition in our window. Roger Malbert writes on art and has curated many stunning exhibitions. I don’t think he is used to exhibiting his own work, so we were really pleased when he agreed to show them with us. Do come and see, it’s on for two weeks only!!

Silver Press is an independent publisher founded by Joanna Biggs, Sarah Shin and Alice Spawls. It launched in 2017, beginning with publishing landmark books from feminist perspectives, including Your Silence Will Not Protect You by Audre Lorde, The Debutante and Other Stories by Leonora Carrington and Space Crone by Ursula K. Le Guin. In 2024, Silver Press launched Spiral House: an imprint for books exploring art, poetry, transformation and ways of knowing.
