👋🏾 We have added these beautiful, playful double Dabu block prints. Dabu printing is a centuries-old Indian hand-block resist printing method rooted in the ancient textile craft of Rajasthan. This technique uses natural substances like black clay, lime, wheat chaff, gum, and sawdust to create resist patterns, along with natural or vegetable dyes, most commonly indigo, to dye these patterns. The method produces materials with intricate designs and rich, deep colors, often enhanced by successive layers of resist and dye, resulting in dramatic visual effects.
