Hiya Folks!

In honour of national poetry month, we at Chener Books will be hosting a series of events over the next few weeks, and would LOVE to see some of your glorious faces there if you can!

National Poetry Day is on the 6th October & we are taking the opportunity to celebrate poetry throughout October, with 4 fantastic events. Entry is by donation - please feel free to pay whatever you can, all donations will be split between the poets.

After an insanely long gap we are back in action with four brilliant in-person poetry events during October. The line-ups are really fantastic and we are so excited to have poetry happening in the shop again! A quick update to let you know that the work in the shop is pretty much finished and the new ceiling is looking amazing. We are so excited to be opening again on Monday (24th) and look forward to seeing you all then!

For all those of you kindly asking - we're not closing down!! We're just having some work done on the shop during January and we'll be back open again towards the end of the month. Next time you see us it will be underneath a lovely new ceiling!

To keep everyone safe and avoid unnecessary risks to staff and customers, we are not currently operating a click and collect service. We aim to get this started again in February, but in the meantime you can still order from us at: https://uk.bookshop.org/shop/chenerbooks

The shop is currently closed while we take a short break. We will be back in action from the 21st November and able to take orders to send or for customers to pick up.
