Is your favourite trailing houseplant looking a little long and sparse? 🌿

Summer is when houseplants like Scindapsus and Epipremnum (Pothos) grow most actively. If they're stretching towards the light, they can become leggy, producing long vines with fewer leaves.

The good news? A little pruning can make a big difference.

By trimming back those longer stems, you'll encourage your plant to branch out and produce fresh new growth, giving you a fuller, healthier-looking plant over time. Better still, don't throw those cuttings away—you can often propagate them to grow even more plants!

💬 Have you ever pruned your houseplants, or does the thought of cutting them back make you nervous?

Our plant team is always happy to help with advice, so pop in and chat to us on your next visit. 🌿

Have you noticed more bees visiting your garden this summer? 🐝

If so, you're providing one of the most important things they need—food.

By planting nectar-rich flowers that bloom throughout the season, leaving out fresh water and avoiding pesticides on flowering plants, you can make a real difference for pollinators.

Even a few bee-friendly plants in a pot or small border can become a valuable food source.

💬 We'd love to know—which plant in your garden attracts the most bees? Share your favourites in the comments and inspire other gardeners!

🌿 Visit our plant area for plenty of pollinator-friendly inspiration.
