WELCOME HOME BABY BOY (after 26 days of NICU stay).
You've filled our lives with JOY and BLISS.

It was  quite a rollercoaster experience for us as parents because watching your newborn literally fight for his life makes you look at life through a different perspective.
✨
Our little one was delivered via Emergency CS at 37+ WOG for Non-reassuring NST and Oligohydraminous. Soon after delivery he was transferred to Nursery for suspected umbilical sepsis. Immediately workup sent, antibiotics and double phototherapy started. Baby developed Polycythemia and received partial exchange transfusion. Also got Acinetobacter umbilical sepsis and Enterococcus sepsis. Kept under double CPAP. Again developed Thrombocytopenia and received platelet concentrate transfusion. Higher range of different antibiotics were provided and our boy was finally recovering. But then suddenly out of nowhere, he was again diagnosed with Patent VID and immediately underwent surgery under GA at 15 days of birth. He has also been diagnosed with PDA for which he is taking several medications.

There were countless times I saw fear in my husband's eyes during our journey in the hospital. He tried to stay strong for me , but in reality both of us were affected by every single thing that happened.

Yes now our warrior baby is finally doing well and we are more than happy  to bring him home. Our little ray of sunshine has completely changed our life.❤❤❤😇
