A most private person, Ruby Ghuznavi’s profound contribution to the field of natural dyes and the preservation of dying art forms remains a pleasant surprise to researchers, even posthumously. Published mere months after her passing, this ILO report acknowledges irreplaceable women leaders in the world of fashion and sustainability, and mentions Ruby, and her successor Nawshin as changemakers in the sustainability landscape of Bangladeshi fashion.
