Everyone’s favourite naturalist, and one of my great inspirations, Sir David Attenborough. In this shot, a young David feeds a Sun Bear cub on one of his first adventures 🍼🐻 Dust and scratches removed, and colour added.

Wanted to do this one to celebrate the live premier for his new film “A Life on Our Planet,” which was delayed by coronavirus, but is now hitting cinemas at the end of September! It’s his reflection upon both the defining moments of his lifetime as a naturalist and the devastating changes he has seen, as well as a hopeful message for the future.

Portrait of my Grandpa, John Berry, circa 1942. Damaged and discoloured photo restored and coloured.

This photo was a total surprise and had never been seen by my family until this year! It was sandwiched between another image in an old frame on a piece of warped card. Although he’s no longer with us, It was recently his 100th birthday, so to mark the occasion I had to restore this great portrait of him as a young man during the war years.

Grandpa was an artist, most well known for illustration the Ladybird children’s books during the 1960’s. He loved teaching his Grandkids how to draw and paint, and as soon as I could hold a pencil, I’d spend hours sat on his lap sketching with him ✨
