Everytime I go on the lamp I seem to push myself alittle more edge on what I can do, what can I sculpt using heat, air, and gravity. There is a lot that goes wrong, that can leave me in a frustrated mood, and yet I come back and practise practice practice. Lampworking is always an evolving practise… it’s hard, challenging, expensive, but ultimately really fun.

Small notes from my trip to say a final goodbye to our loved ones we lost last year. Settling them back home was such an….. experience- from foggy sunny boat ride, pizza by the canal, wild man cocktails, all the cocktails, gossiping with my cousins, planning a tattoo with my aunt, saunas, sea dips, wind, feeling a thinning in the woods, watching deer, finding frogs, hugging my little nephew, randomly meeting London friends in Riga (hi ) eating Pragi, smoked fish, and cabbage, pancakes, walking on moss, drawing, seeing where my family grew up before they had their lives torn apart by war, driving through the forests….. I was pained to leave! But now I’m back and excited to get back to the studio to work on market on the 13th/14th! I’ve been designing lots of new pieces so it’s a week of late nights for me 😊

Ready to go out, and be cute.
Does anyone know how to get a nice green colour? All my attempts have been… lacking.
