Hello June!

I'm on gardening duties today, so our day is a little more unpredictable, than the usual unpredictability that is life but I was pretty sure you didn't want a picture of the Cancer unit to welcome in June, so here's a glorious rose I bought for mum when she came home- who knew shop bought flowers could be so impressive!

My original aim was to have a felted flower shop here but that was before mum's diagnosis, so let's see how things go! It's looking a little sparse at the moment but don't rule me out quite yet- my hands come alive at night when mamma gets her beauty sleep 🤭😉

Happy Friday from me & mamma...we're, well me actually am ridiculously excited to take part in the this weekend!!! 🙌🎈🌈

We won't be able to do face to face events for a while yet but these online events are a wonderful way to connect with makers & customers across the land, without leaving the comfort of your home 🎉🥳🎉 It's the first market of 2022 where we can be 'present' & I've really been hopeful we could take part & now it's only a day away 🤗

I can't wait to see what Folksy folk have been up to & welcome Spring with the simple pleasure that is a coffee, cake and a spot of shopping ☕🍰🛍🙈

'The greater your storm, the brighter your rainbow' (Anonymous) 🌈🤍🙏🤍🌈

We've been through quite a storm IG friends...some of you may know mum was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leaukemia (AML) back in October 2021 & 7 months, 4 chemo rounds later, we are finally home! 🥳🙌🎉🥳

It's by no means over and whilst I take the pressure off mum, so she can recover at her own pace, I'll be taking baby steps back into this creative community & am excited to share pieces with you, I have worked on during mum's treatment. Each new piece was inspired by a significant moment or mindset.

Taking some time to catch up with our DM's and if I haven't got round to thanking you personally, I'm extending a very big Thank you, for tags, likes, messages of support, I hope to message you all individually very soon 🤞

Please bear with me, whilst I find my way around this platform & catch up. 🙏
