After working in both private and public organisations for decades, I was appointed by the Lord to accept the holy and the most “challenging” job in the world, a full-time mommy, years ago. Like my counterparts all over the world, I experienced the joy of witnessing my little boy every “first time”; tasted the helpless tears of being a first time mommy; suffered from the exhaustiveness in repeatin
g “milk, poo, sleep” cycles and went through the madness of cleansing up a messy home. In short, I lived in family – oriented and son- focused mode that is no “me time” and “personal life” for the past few years. In 2020, an unpredictable move to the UK will not only free my son from my full attention by attending Year 1 but also allow me to think, plan and prepare for our future. When I started to hunt for a flexi-hours part-time or home-based job, an opportunity called “Usborne Independent Organisers” (UIO) caught my eyes.
