Washing your hair is a lot like washing your skin. Water on its own will remove the majority of the visible dirt, but realistically its not going to remove odors/oils.
So, how does shampoo actually clean your hair?
Shampoos are designed with cleansing agents (surfactants). These are soaps that help remove debris from the scalp/hair. Many shampoos also contain sulphates which directly target the oil in your hair.
The oil on your scalp and hair is hydrophobic, this basically means that the oil won’t budge by just rinsing with water.
All shampoos target different problems and not every product will work for your hair type, always have a look into what the product is targeting.
The Vitals hair care is designed for all hair types, therefore all hair types will benefit from our product!
Why not try it out for yourself?
