Black and white picture…no farm or farmer’s name, no story, no processing method, no recommended brewing methods, no flavour notes….whatever next within Speciality Coffee, we’ve gone back to the dark ages of selling coffee😉
No guidance, therefore….just enjoy and see what you think!
It’s a banger for sure folks though of course, but so hot off the press, we haven’t sorted out our labels yet. Any queries about origin etc please DM me.
On the shelves 10-6 all weekend and herein daily with our washed Colombia and Bonnet de Duce Breton Blend.

Sometimes you can walk past somewhere and not realise the human goodness that lies within. Our very good pal Sarah (who you may know from from back in the day), is on the platform at Sydenham Hill using our Breton Blend for all her coffees at her . If you’re ever catching a train from there, I recommend you stop to say hello for a coffee and a chat. She’s 1 in a million and good for one’s soul.👊❤️

I decided not to put another picture of my limited edition Ethiopia Blend roasted for filter, instead a picture of me and my cat from last night👌. She watched over me studiously as I packed the coffee for into the late hours last night.
There’s plenty of lovely coffee now on the shelves for the weekend , including the last of that Ethiopian Blend, it’s absolutely flown off the shelves, thank you Crystal Palace for continuing to support local in your coffee buying👊

We also got to catch up with some old friends from Palace’s favourite chocolate shop after too long away.
Our CoffeeMan was totally blown away by Barry’s version of Lennon’s “Working Class Hero”…..only in Palace ladies and gentlemen😉❤️

Did you know our Neil was the UK Latte Art Champion in 2010. way back in the day, when ‘Third Wave’ was in its infancy. It was a struggle to find good coffee back in those days for sure. You can’t always guarantee a decent coffee these days still, but there’s certainly more folk taking care in where they source and buy their coffee from. An old school Rosetta here from Neil reminds us of the aesthetics that put the cherry on the coffee cake. As coffee roasters and coffee makers though we are only the final little cog, the hard work is done at source….in farmers we salute! Here’s our friends in East Timor doing their part at the back end of the chain, where the work really happens.

It’s the busiest day of the year in today, there’s chocolate Easter eggs everywhere!!…there’s also loads of amazing coffee on the shelves from Crystal Palace’s only coffee roaster folks😉. Here’s a couple of smart pics from .morales of our Breton Blend and our Decaf, both stalwarts now in our range. Treat your loved one to a bag of coffee to go with their Easter chocolate….all made in Crystal Palace!

Life can be testing at times as well as beautiful…it’s good to learn how to toughen up physically and mentally from an early age (pic 1)…it’s also important to have fun and smile 😉(pic 2) ….and be nice to each other wherever you can!!!.., it’s infectious being nice folks. My daughter Isla has started early on all these fronts👊…watch out!
I’ve been missing you all loads since departing from behind the counter to pastures new, but the shelves are still stuffed full with my coffee (10am-6pm seven days a week).
I’ll be back CP…. Keep em peeled!😉.

My partner brought home this little metal filter contraption recently. After lurking around my French Press at home for so long, it has made a welcome change of brewing paraphernalia. PCan I now please recommend you taste our new washed Rotutu from East Timor (fresh 2022 crop and now freshly roasted), as a filter brew if you get the chance. WOW! We are sooo happy to still be working with , as we have been since their inception. There’s plenty available in the shelves in all weekend and every day 10-6.

10:00-18:00 every day…massive Ditting grinder on site in case you’ve still not round to buying that grinder for home!
