Sacred geometry and the circle.

The circle is a universal symbol with extensive meaning. It represents the notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement, God ('God is a circle whose centre is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere' (Hermes Trismegistus)). As the sun, it is masculine power; as the soul and as encircling waters, it is the feminine maternal principle. "It implies an idea of movement, and symbolizes the cycle of time, the per petual motion of everything that moves, the planets' journey around the sun (the circle of the zodiac), the great rhythm of the universe. The circle is also zero in our system of numbering, and symbolizes potential, or the embryo. It has a magical value as a protective agent, ... and indicates the end of the process of individuation, of striving towards a psychic wholeness and self-realization" (Julien, 71).

The inner fire is the vital energy within us; the unseen force that gives life to our being. Sometimes stress, fear, anxiety, and getting overwhelmed is drowning our inner fire deep inside us and quieting its voice. That’s the moment when we start feel unmotivated and unhappy with ourselves. When you neglect your inner fire energy, or otherwise do something that doesn’t resonate with it, you feel, well . . . not so good.

Blown away by this beautiful specimen, zeolites are quickly becoming my new favourite!!

It’s been a while 👋🏼
I’ve had some time away to come to terms with needing a total hysterectomy.
For women, a large part of who we are is tied up with our womb and ovaries. It connects us to the women who came before us and carried the women who come later and are yet to be born. It marks us as divine with the potential to nurture that first spark of life and the ability to sustain it.
But the whole is more than the sun of its parts, and being a woman, she, her, or goddess, is more than having a womb.

Medusa, monster or simply misunderstood?

She has long been seen as a symbol of protection and is the embodiment of female power and wrath. Even her name comes from the Ancient Greek verb for power.

Most of us have heard about the monster that could turn men to stone with one look, but how many of us have heard her story? Like all good myths and legends, it’s full of s*x, jealousy and murder. A tale of how Medusa is cursed by Athena for being the object of Poseidon attentions. She later sends Perseus to kill her and mounts her head on her shield. The other two gorgon sisters vow revenge on Athena for what she has done. Athena makes fun of the sisters by making a flute that mimics the soulful cries of the sisters. While sitting playing the flute by the river, Athena glances at her reflection which is that of a hideous monster.

Who truly is the monster? Or does this tale just tell of the Medusa in every woman? Perhaps instead of a monster, she was an example of how painfully demonized women have been for embracing themselves and their power.

Medusa teaches us to know and love ourselves outside of the expectations of patriarchal society. Because she is a reminder to be unapologetically ourselves and fierce in the face of oppression, Medusa is a perfect talisman for manifesting and honoring our inner bad bitch.

Strength of love grid.

Being deeply loved gives you strength, Loving deeply gives you courage.

My beautiful pink amethyst elephant was from a mystery box from and couldn’t be more perfect for me. In 2019 I spent some time with these magnificent animals in the northern jungles of Thailand(swipe for pic)

Native to Africa and Asia, the elephant is an important figure in the cultural mythology of these regions and beyond. In addition, the elephant spirit animal appears in the devotional beliefs of people around the world.

A symbol of strength, family, wisdom, memory and overcoming of obstacles with dignity and majesty. It reminds us that anything can be overcome with a little strength and love💕

The Sustainer is within us all, we nurture and sustain our families, working tirelessly to pay bills and keep mouths fed.

The Sustainer has a natural inclination to nourish others, and when in balance, at peace with the rhythm of life. All too often, the Sustainer forgets to nourish themselves, leading to feeling overworked, resentful, trapped and tired.

This is your reminder to take sometime for yourself and do something that feeds your soul.
