VFour on the mall floor.

Another great trader story with Romiluyi Abiodun, who we first met a couple of years ago. From day one, it was clear he had the drive, passion and ambition to build something special. What Romy wanted to understand was how to successfully transition his brand into the retail environment and do it properly.

At Flourish, we are proud to have supported Romy not only with advice and mentorship, but also by helping bring his vision to life through his reclaimed scaffold board setup and providing pop-up opportunities across a number of our centres over the years.

Today, VFour is becoming one of the fastest-growing urban streetwear brands around, with customers travelling from all over to purchase their next piece. A huge part of this success comes down to the incredible work he has put into building their online presence and community.

Success never happens overnight, and it is clear that Romiluyi is in this for the long run continuing to push, evolve and grow the VFour brand every single day.

Vending is changing!

This week, we installed Pokémon vending machines across four of our centres and they certainly caused a stir.
The Pokémon card market has become a global phenomenon in recent years, with some rare cards selling tor hundreds of thousands of pounds, and collectors continuing to drive huge demand worldwide. What was once seen purely as a children’s hobby has evolved into a serious collector and retail market, attracting customers of all ages.
What stood out most for us was reading the testimonial from the trader following the installations. Hearing first-hand how welcomed and supported they felt throughout the process, alongside the immediate reaction from customers.
At Flourish, commercialisation is about far more than just kiosks.
It’s about identifying every opportunity within a centre and introducing meaningful, effective solutions that genuinely fit the environment, enhance the customer experience, and generate additional revenue.
From experiential vending and interactive concepts to permanent kiosks and pop-ups, retail space is evolving, and so are customer expectations.
These installations are another example of how shopping centres can embrace new trends, create excitement, and turn underutilised spaces into something engaging for visitors.

And that’s a wrap on Retail Destination Live 2026.

It’s been a jam-packed couple of days in Manchester with the team, catching up with so many familiar faces across the industry and meeting some great new ones along the way.

Events like this are a great reminder of how collaborative and forward-thinking the retail property sector is. It was fantastic to share some of the exciting projects we’ve been working on at Flourish, and the changes we’re continuing to make as we grow and support even more businesses across our destinations.

Partnerships are at the heart of what we do at Flourish, and over the past few years we’ve been proud to work alongside some brilliant operators who continue to evolve the customer experience within our centres.

Recently, I caught up with Danny from to talk about the world of leisure vending, from their well-known massage chairs to their gift card programme and growing Fun Hub concept.

What stood out in our conversation was Clearhill’s approach to identifying the right opportunities for each centre. A great example of this is Grosvenor Shopping Northampton, where a combination of Fun Hub, individual rides, and massage chairs has helped enhance the customer experience while delivering stronger returns for the scheme.

Danny, Head of Partnerships at Clearhill, brings a huge amount of retail experience and has supported over 20 Flourish schemes, helping introduce more premium leisure products across our portfolio, something that aligns perfectly with our focus on creating engaging spaces and maximising commercial opportunities for our clients.

It’s always great to step back and reflect on how these partnerships continue to grow and evolve.

Back at One Stop Shopping Centre in Perry Barr, catching up with one of our newest traders,

When new traders join a scheme, it’s always exciting to see how quickly they connect with customers. Bite & Juice have done exactly that! In just a few short weeks, their shawarma, falafel, smoothies, and milkshakes have already built a loyal following in the centre.

It’s been great hearing about their journey so far and how they’ve found the process from joining the centre to getting up and running with Flourish. Seeing independent businesses settle in, grow in confidence, and become part of the shopping centre community is what it’s all about.

Looking forward to seeing what the next few months bring for them.

We’re back One Stop Shopping, Perry Barr, this time catching up with the team at , who have now been trading on site for three years.

It was great to reflect on their journey at the centre, the strong relationships they’ve built with centre management and fellow traders, and the recent updates they’ve made to their brand and trailer.

At Flourish, we’re passionate about supporting businesses not just to arrive on site, but to grow, evolve, and succeed long-term within our centres and Smashing It is a great example of that in action.

🎥 Trader Spotlight | The Strand Liverpool

It was a pleasure spreaking with Vishal from .uk, our newest trader at The Strand in Liverpool, to talk about his journey setting up in a shopping centre for the very first time.

Starting out can be daunting from understanding pitches, compliance to presentation, positioning, and footfall. Hearing Vishal speak about his experience, the challenges, and how he’s found the process has been a great reminder of why we do what we do.

At Flourish, our role isn’t just to place traders, it’s to guide, support, and help them grow with confidence from day one. Seeing new businesses take their first steps and settle into a centre is always rewarding.

Thrilled to welcome Spud Haven to One Stop in Perry Barr! 🥔

I had the pleasure of meeting with them for a quick chat. They’ve only been with us for nine days, but it was fantastic to hear how they’re settling in and serving up their delicious jacket potatoes already.

In the video, we talk about their early experiences and how they found our onboarding process, from that first contact with the Flourish team to getting fully set up in the centre.
