Today I spent the day with my bestie doing something a little different… we went to an art class! 🎨🐾

Instead of creating one of my usual FloralSteam pieces, I picked up a paintbrush and had a go at painting my lovely dog.

I always believe it’s good to keep learning new skills and stepping outside your comfort zone. Every creative experience teaches you something, and it’s inspiring to see how other artists work.

I’m actually really pleased with how she turned out! What do you think? ❤️

“What could I make with these?”

Well… here it is.

🌳 The Timekeeper Tree 🌳

Created from reclaimed materials, this one-of-a-kind sculpture brings together nature, imagination and the passage of time. Hidden within the textured bark is a woodland spirit, while the clocks remind us that every moment has its own story. Even the recycled bottle has found a new purpose, becoming part of the tree’s heart.

This is what I love most about creating with Powertex and recycled treasures – seeing the potential in things that others might throw away and transforming them into something magical.

✨ From Worn Out to Work of Art ✨

This old boot was destined for the bin… but I saw something more.

Using layers of Powertex, recycled materials and a touch of imagination, it’s been transformed into a one-of-a-kind FloralSteam creation. Rich blue-green and copper tones, vintage clocks, gears, delicate butterflies, textured fabrics, hand-painted roses and even old paintbrushes bursting from the top tell the story of a life well lived. Every detail has been carefully placed, turning something forgotten into a beautiful statement piece.

I love giving discarded objects a second chance and proving that creativity can be found in the most unexpected places. 💚
