…Made In Assynt Craft and Produce Markets showcase talented artists, crafts people & crofters from Assynt and the surrounding areas, and provides access to a fine selection of locally grown and produced food. At each of these Highland craft fairs you are likely to find a great var

iety of goods for sale, including:

local pottery, glassware, jewellery, clothing, knitting yarns, horn craft, books by local author, wood turning, artworks, jams & preserves, hand baked breads, fresh veg and various other unique local gifts & produce. During the markets, delicious refreshments are supplied by one of our local Lochinver charity groups as a fund raiser. These include;

Assynt Leisure, Lochinver RNLI, Macmillan Cancer Support & Community Care Assynt

…so it’s a great place to browse the stalls, relax, chat to the stall holders, and of course take home some local gifts and produce.

The weather isn’t set to simmer up here this year but don’t worry, if you are looking for something to do on a rainy and windy day, today’s market may just be the right place to be. We have 15 stalls selling their handmade goods and we have volunteers for Culag Community Woods providing scrumptious refreshments.
We are open until 4pm in the Village Hall in Lochinver.

Our market today has got off to a good start and we look forward to seeing old and new customers today. The Assynt Centre is catering for thirst and hunger to raise funds for their work of community care in Assynt. Below a selection of handmade art, craft and produce you can find at the stalls.

It’s Craft Market Day again today in the Village Hall in Lochinver and our 14 stallholders are looking forward to presenting their handmade products to you. There is a range of things to browse from naturally dyed yarns to knitwear, Charcuterie to craft beers and Sauerkrauts, paintings to prints, jewellery, soaps and bath salts to room scents, so come in and have a look around.

We don’t have a community group providing refreshments today but the Lochinver eateries can cater for you.

Our sixth market of this season is in full swing today with 17 stalls selling their beautiful handmade products. Culag Woods are providing the refreshments today serving sweet and savoury foods.

Why not come in out of the rain and have a browse and a cup of tea or coffee. We look forward to seeing you!

It’s another market day today in Lochinver Village Hall and we have 18 stalls showcasing their foods, art and crafts.
We are open until 4pm and look forward to seeing you.
Refreshments provided by volunteers for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Market Day today in the Village Hall in Lochinver with around 15 stalls offering their locally made goods and the RNLI Lochinver Lifeboat volunteers providing refreshments during the day.
We are open from 10am-4pm.
Some stalls are cash only but there is a post office in Spar and an ATM outside the hall.
Well behaved dogs are welcome too.

There’s a great variety of handmade products on show at the market today, all made by artists and craftspeople from Assynt and surrounding areas. If you want to find a special gift, a treat for yourself and want to support small local businesses - our market may just be the place to visit. We are open until 4pm today, 8th of May 2026. 😍

It is Market Day tomorrow in the Village Hall in Lochinver from 10am-4pm.

We won’t have a community group doing their fundraiser refreshments tomorrow but the cafes in the village will be open.

The stalls presenting their handmade goods tomorrow range from smoked meats and cheese, wood turning, paintings and art prints to knitwear, naturally dyed yarns and weaving, ceramics, jewellery and room scents and more.

Whether you are looking for something useful, wearable, edible or decorative we may very well have something on the stalls that you like.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Refreshment provisions opportunity available at our next market this Friday 8th of May in the Village Hall in Lochinver. 10-4pm.

If you are a local group or initiative who would like to raise funds for a project or an individual or business who would like to take care of the catering on the day, please let us know as soon as possible, ideally by email to [email protected].

The second market is in full swing today, so do come to the village hall in Lochinver to browse the stalls or get yourself some delicious cakes or savoury food. The Assynt Book Festival is also part of this market with a book sale and some short author’s talks on the stage. We are open until 4pm and look forward to seeing you.
