A little story for you — and it’s a good one, worth a read.
A customer asked me a while back to help advertise his Cetus HV. Happy to help, of course however despite being a beautiful, like‑new kayak, it just didn’t sell.
He got back in touch and said he’d simply give me the kayak. I was completely taken aback and said absolutely not — let’s try lowering the price instead. Still no luck.
Then, out of the blue, he contacted me again and said, “I’m giving you the boat. I’ll drop it off on Saturday.” I was honestly overwhelmed by his generosity.
After thinking it over though, I suggested a different idea: I’d accept the kayak, but I’d sell it to raise funds for a charity nominated by him. He loved the plan — and that’s where we are now.

This Cetus HV is priced at the top end of the second‑hand market because it is genuinely “as new”, with no hull gelcoat scratches. It’s the Expedition Spec model, and comes with high‑quality extras including two touring spraydecks, a neoprene cockpit cover, two Reed paddle holders, and a deck compass. Replacing this package new would be well over £5,000, so the asking price reflects the exceptional condition, premium outfitting, and the value of the included accessories. At the moment it's listed at £3,200.00 and it would be fantastic if we could raise this amount for the charity but happy to discuss if you're interested.
