‘Aberglasney Gardens offers an excellent visitor experience, supported by outstanding horticultural displays and knowledgeable staff’ – according to the recent Visit Wales Visitor Attraction Assessment (VAQAS) 2026.

Aberglasney’s Visit Wales Visitor Attraction Assessment (VAQAS) 2026 report stated:

‘The gardens were looking magnificent during the visit. Significant improvements are underway in the Asiatic Garden, while extensive work in the Kitchen Garden and Upper Walled Gardens has created vibrant displays full of colour. The Woodland Garden offers a peaceful contrast, with a more natural and tranquil atmosphere.’

‘Staff encountered throughout the visit were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Their enthusiasm and passion for Aberglasney Gardens was evident and contributed positively to the overall visitor experience.’

The Visit Wales Visitor Attraction Assessment evaluates and grades tourism sites to ensure a high standard of visitor experience. Assessors conduct incognito visits to inspect every touchpoint from digital bookings and car parks to staff knowledge, cleanliness, and accessibility, providing detailed feedback and official accreditations.

Create a beautiful arrangement using freshly cut roses and peonies in this floristry Workshop in the unique backdrop of Aberglasney Gardens with Nia Pinc on Saturday, 6th June between 1pm and 3pm.

Come along on your own or with friends and create your own beautiful arrangement to take home and put in pride of place on your dining room table or mantel piece.

The cost of the workshop is £75 and includes a hot drink and cake at the beginning of the workshop which will be held in the beautiful surroundings of the Jill Walter’s Suite inside the Mansion, looking over the Cloister Garden.

No equipment is required, everything will be provided by Nia and you will be able to take your beautiful creation home with you at the end of the workshop.

Nia will guide you through, step by step, on how to make this unique arrangement.
