Commander Party is a story-inspired Commander event that immerses players in the setting of the latest set release. The vibe is fun and casual, and the events are outstanding opportunities to welcome in broad groups from your community, from new players to lore enthusiasts to Commander fans.

The event features special rules designed specifically for Magic: The Gathering | Secrets of Strixhaven and includes play aids and party cards to support play. Each pod of three to four players receives a play aid, and party cards are placed in the designated area of the play aid.

⚔️ Rounds: Best-of-3 50 minutes (number based on turnout)

Sunday Sealed - 10:30am for an 11:00am start

Prerelease Structure

A Prerelease is a sealed deck event; upon entry, you will receive a kit containing:

6 Magic: The Gathering® | Marvel Super Heroes Play Boosters 🎴
1 traditional foil rare/mythic rare card
Spindown™ life counter

You’ll build a sealed deck from the cards you open (Basic lands will be provided) and play swiss rounds against other players who have done the same!

For our sealed events, each player receives one participation Play Booster. JustPlay will add one Play Booster to the prize pool for each player. 🏆

These are awarded to players with a winning record (more wins than losses and draws). Take Home kits do not come with an extra booster.

This weekend we concluded our May painting competition! This month's category was "monstrous," and we had some incredible entries. Thank you to all 21 of you who submitted your art to the competition. We love seeing such amazing displays of the hobby, and we appreciate your participation!
1st place goes to Chris with his Vizzik Skour.
2nd place is Ben with his Angron.
3rd place is shared by both Ivo and Darryn, with a Mindstealer Sphinx and a Boss on Squigasaur, respectively.

Next month's category is "Mounted," and entries must be submitted by 4 PM on the last Saturday of the month! Best of luck!
