In anticipation of tomorrow’s event celebrating ’s ELSEWHERE book we had to post this banger of Howard Cooke hcharlescooke shot by PHoTo: Wig Worland . A prime example of making a spot out of very little and taking it to the next level. You can probably feel the abrasive material through whatever screen you’re viewing this on. Come buy a bev, a coffee or a softy and admire photography from Wig Worland and in exhibition form before listening to a lovely chat between these lensman and Neil. It’ll be cracking! ❤️🐊

Today’s image is of John Newby skating a slightly different version of the Green Bars spot we currently know, captured excellently by . Style in front of and behind the lens in abundance here. John certainly left his mark around the city and is one of the few people in town to literally have a spot named after them.

2 days to go before our ELSEWHERE book appreciation evening with photos from and Kev Banks on the wall, as well as a talk with them alongside the mastermind behind the book . See you saturday 20th June ❤️🐊

Needless to say there’s certainly going to be a healthy amount of Geoff Rowley featured either in the book or on the walls on Saturday. This one was taken of Geoff by at the start of the 90’s at the infamous Scaff banks. Difficult to skate now, difficult to skate then, but a staple through generations of Merseyside skateboard enthusiasts. Get to the shop on Saturday, grab ’s great book ELSEWHERE, enjoy the visual stimulus from PHoTo: Wig Worland & Kev Banks, then listen in to a chat between the three of them. See you there! ❤️🐊

Free set of bolts for anyone who recreates this image this week. The ground is that rough, that yours might have vibrated out!

In the build up to the event this Saturday 20th June celebrating ’s incredible book ELSEWHERE, we thought we’d post some iconic Liverpool imagery that Neil has previously posted to further induce the already excessive hype.

First up is Adam Cooke photographed by Ian Lawton in ‘91 embodying a very Merseyside approach to a very Merseyside spot. A classic on all accounts.

Books will be for sale, there will be photos on the wall from & PHoTo: Wig Worland, a chat between Wig, Kev and Neil and no doubt stories a plenty. ❤️🐊

Join us on Saturday 20th June for a special event in conjunction with ’s incredible publication ‘Elsewhere’. There’ll be photos on the wall from & PHoTo: Wig Worland , a natter about the book and this iconic era with Neil, Wig & Kev and no doubt tonnes of incredible stories from those who remember this special time in UK skateboarding. Poster penned by resident art goth sketchstance of Liverpool sketchstanceO’Connor re-interpreted from one of Wig’s many Merseyside based gems. Come grab a book, see some never before published numbers, reminisce, talk, listen and have a drink with us. Also if you want to get a set of Bones Reds or a t-shirt whilst you’re here, we won’t stop you ❤️🐊

Definitely contender for soundest Lost Art family member this week. It’s the man with springy pop and a springier ket wig. That’s right, it’s ! Kynno’s held it down for the shop for years, always a smile, part of the much loved & collective and a pleasure to talk to about absolutely anything. Who doesn’t want to know about the national stone skimming competition on an island off Scotland? Oh and he kills it on the board and sorts his mates out with help anytime, be it electrics, an allotment graft or keeping you in the know of the best walking routes around. A certified legend by all accounts. Love you forever Will! ❤️🐊

The longest standing LA family member, Ash The Wizzer Wilson is next up for our Monday set up specs! Ash can usually be found getting tech as f**k and Platypus flipping at an ungodly hour at Newsham park and hanging with Ray Mears when he’s not shooting banging photos of LA family members. Sowie’s finest. Go on the green! Love you mate, down since day one. ❤️🐊
