Table plans are so stressful 🥲

Are you worried about where to put great grandma because she now doesn’t like “that” other family member or are you unsure on whether to invite those x10 cousins you haven’t spoken to in years.. well, don’t worry, I’ve been there & I’ve got some top tips to help you ⬇️

1. Only invite who YOU both want to invite, not who your parents or others say you “should” invite. It’ll save you money & let’s be honest, it’s your day after all 🤍 remember you have a night time guest list for a reason!

2. DO NOT leave your table plan until last minute ‼️ this is one of the top tips I give to my couples. Make a night of it…grab some nibbles, wine or a cheeky beer and have a wedding table plan evening, where you talk about in advance and organise the guests. I PROMISE you, if you leave it until last minute, it’s always very stressful.

3. Ensure you’ve booked your wedding signage in- including your tableplan! Many people leave this detail until later on but it needs booking in advance. Did you know the table plan is the MOST LOOKED AT item, as every single guest needs to know where they’re sitting. —-> click for your signage needs!!

4. Kids…. It’s always a tricky one. If you don’t want to have other peoples’ children there, then be clear right from the invitations and so people aren’t left second guessing. You can be direct and polite at the same time. It’s okay to not want children there and it’s also okay if you do want children there, remember it’s your big day- do it how you both want!!!

5. Lastly- just remember… if you wouldn’t go for a meal with them or if they cause you or your partner nothing but DRAMA— cut ‘em out. They don’t need to be on your day guest list.
