my name's Rebekah, creator of Butterfly Glass.

My idea to begin a business in stained glass making came about during one of the many lockdowns of 2020. I began watching other stained glass artists and I was hooked, I couldn't wait to start designing my own projects.

I was always buying little glass trinkets whenever I would go on holiday or a school trip when I was younger. So I think I've alw

ays had a fascination with glass, I love the colours and textures, the way the light shines through and enhances the colours.

I am a nature enthusiast and so get a lot of inspiration from the nature around me. I love flowers, plants and especially animals, so I base most of my designs around these.

I absolutely love butterflies so I decided to base my brand around this and i hope to design unique butterfly suncatchers in the near future, but I want them to be perfect so I'm taking my time!

I didn't get the chance to post a photo of these over Christmas but I loved making them and I love how vivid the colours are 🥰

Happy New Year! 🎉🍾

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas break, I definitely enjoyed my time off.

I'm officially back and ready to get stuck into a new year of glass making! 👩‍🏭👩‍🎨

I've also decided that I'm going to keep my etsy store closed until the 1st of February as I need some time to replenish my stock and get ready for this year's craft stalls and I'm also working on some new designs, which I can't wait to show you all 😄

So for now I think it'll just be a couple of throwbacks and maybe some photos of Christmas designs that I didn't get the chance to post 🙃

I can't wait to see what this year brings and thank you all so much for your support throughout last year 🥰 x

Unfortunately, I couldn't make the craft fair today due to being unwell so apologies to anybody who was expecting to see me there 😔

But I took full advantage of the snow and took loads of photos of my suncatchers, so incoming Christmas suncatcher spam 🌨️❄️🎄

And of course I had my little helper Terry distracting me the whole time 🐈
