Imagine walking into your wedding ceremony and feeling an immediate sense of excitement before a single word has been spoken.

Not because everything is perfectly coordinated, or because every flower matches the colour scheme exactly, but because the whole space feels alive. The colours make you smile, the flowers seem to spill naturally into the room, and there’s a feeling that what you’re looking at couldn’t belong to anyone else.

When couples first get in touch, they often think we’re going to spend most of our time talking about flowers. In reality, we spend far more time talking about atmosphere. We talk about how they want their wedding to feel, what they want their guests to experience, and the little details that make their relationship and story unique.

The flowers come afterwards.

For this wedding, colour, movement and abundance were at the heart of every decision. The aim wasn’t to create something that looked perfect in a photograph. It was to create something joyful, welcoming and full of personality from the moment guests arrived.

Because when I think back to my favourite weddings, it’s rarely the individual flowers I remember most. It’s the atmosphere they helped create and the feeling that the whole day was a genuine reflection of the couple at its centre.

If you’re planning your wedding, I’d love to know what feeling you want your day to have.

One of the things I love most about weddings is that no two ever feel quite the same.

Not because one couple has chosen a flower nobody has ever used before, or because they’ve spent months chasing the latest trend, but because the best weddings are rooted in the people at the centre of them. The colours they love. The atmosphere they want to create. The little details that tell their story.

That’s exactly how I approach wedding flowers.
I’m not looking for what’s fashionable or what everybody else is doing this year. I’m looking for ways to create flowers that feel connected to the couple, the celebration and the atmosphere they want their guests to experience.

Because long after the trends have faded, the weddings people remember are the ones that felt genuine. The ones that felt like the people getting married.

What’s one thing you’re including in your wedding simply because you love it?

02/06/2026

Most wedding florists won’t tell you this, but I don’t actually need you to know what flowers you want.

In fact, I’d say most of my couples couldn’t name more than a handful of flowers before they started planning their wedding, and that’s completely normal.

What they do know is that they want the day to feel relaxed rather than formal, colourful without feeling chaotic, and beautiful without feeling too weddingy. They want their guests to walk into the room and immediately feel something, even if they can’t quite put it into words.

That’s actually far more useful to me than a list of flower names.

Because my job isn’t to recreate a Pinterest board. It’s to understand what matters to you, what atmosphere you’re trying to create and how you want the day to feel when you’re standing in the middle of it surrounded by your favourite people.

The flowers are simply one of the tools we use to get there.

So if you’ve been putting off enquiring because you don’t have a finished vision, a detailed brief or a perfectly organised Pinterest board, please don’t.

Most of my couples start with a handful of screenshots, a vague idea and a lot of I don’t really know how to explain it.

That’s exactly what I’m here for.

Tell me honestly: are you the spreadsheet-and-colour-coded-tabs type, or are you currently operating on vibes alone?

It didn’t happen overnight.

Just a lot of small steps, a few changes along the way, and figuring things out as I went.

Funny how it all leads you somewhere you never expected.

It’s been a journey — one I wouldn’t change 💕

One of the things I hear quite a lot is
“I feel like I should have more of this figured out before I enquire…”

You really don’t.

Some of my favourite weddings have started with a loose idea, a colour you love, or just a feeling you’re trying to create.

That’s where I come in — helping you shape it into something that feels full, personal, and a little bit different (without it becoming overwhelming).

If you’re drawn to bright, joyful flowers but aren’t quite sure how to bring it all together yet, you’re exactly where you need to be 🧡💗

Valentine’s Day as a wedding florist.

Love sits at the centre of everything I do.

Valentine’s Day is often the moment when ideas start forming — questions asked, plans imagined, conversations that turn into something bigger.

If today marks the beginning of that for you, take your time. There’s no rush to have it all worked out.

When you’re ready to talk about wedding flowers, I’ll be here 🤍

Emma came to me with ideas that were hard to put into words.

After our first call, she told me she felt like she’d just come out of a bad interview — worried she hadn’t explained herself properly.

That’s exactly why the next step matters.

The mood board wasn’t about trends or ticking boxes. It was about showing Emma that I’d listened, understood, and could translate what she felt into flowers that made sense.

By the time the wedding day arrived, there was no second-guessing.
Just joy, colour, and flowers that felt completely right for them.

This is what I love most about my work — taking the pressure out of the process so couples can actually enjoy it. 🌿

If you know what you want to feel, but not how to explain it, you’re exactly who I work best with.

Caught up on a few things this evening with the leftover bud vases from the weekend still on the desk. It’s amazing how a little colour can make the workspace feel fresher, even on a day that’s been mostly admin and computer tabs.

This time of year is such a mix – winter tones slowly shifting, early spring ideas starting to take shape, and lots of planning ticking along quietly in the background. It all feels like that calm stretch before everything gets busy again.
