For all dog lovers a happy ending!!!!

His owner brought him to the shelter to be euthanized. Then someone noticed the terrified senior dog clinging to his leg. 💔🐾

Chrissy was at a local shelter pulling dogs for Forgotten Now Family Rescue when she noticed the 18-year-old dog in the corner. Seymour was severely neglected, covered in flea dirt, suffering from a serious infection, and had growths and masses across his body.

When Chrissy learned why he was there, she couldn't leave him behind. She took Seymour into her rescue as a fospice dog, expecting she might only have a few days or weeks with him.

But Seymour had other plans.

Instead of a short hospice stay, Seymour gave Chrissy 13 months and counting. ❤️ He went from being neglected and unwanted to becoming a cherished member of a family that makes sure he knows how deeply he is loved.

Chrissy says Seymour is kind, loving, and everyone's best friend. His past was heartbreaking, but his story proves that sometimes a senior dog doesn't need someone to give up on them. They just need someone willing to give them a chance.

And Seymour is still making every day count. ❤️🐶
