Some photos of the first batch of 13 figures I have created so far. I’ve thrown some paint on to give you a better idea of how they might look.

They’re all plebeian males in various tunics, a couple with hats (a petasos and a pileus pannonicus) and some wearing a fascia ventralis around their waist. They have a variety of footwear and in a variety of poses.

The dice players come with seating attached and one is using a dice cup (fritillus). There’s also a dice tower (turricula) fashioned after the one found n Germany (it should actually work if you can find the worlds smallest dice).

There should be 12 spectators but I wasn’t happy with the last one so he was executed. I plan on making more seated figures with cloaks (a pallium) as this was more common than headwear, and I’ve started some plebeian women, all wearing suitable clothing and footwear. After that I’ll be focusing on standing figures, spectating and going about their daily business, children, and then members of the senatorial class.

The figures have been modelled to suit a period between roughly 100bce to 100ce (if anybody actually cares) and sized to be as close as possible to the Footsore minis.

Please note that I will be tweaking some of the figures and once done the figures will be available to purchase.

I’m not selling the stl’s but every printed figure will be £1.20 each. If you want the dice game that’s £3 for both figures and the table.
