Hi everyone and Happy New Year! I now am open again for orders. I am going to have to make a couple of changes for 2026. As I’m sure many of you know, the last few years have been very difficult for small businesses, our costs have increased but people just don’t have the money anymore, so we’re having to absorb these increased costs ourselves. Not to mention the fact that Royal Mail keep increasing their prices but their service has gotten worse 😢 in most areas they only prioritise parcels now, so even a first class stamp isn’t guaranteed within a week anymore. These things combined have had a big effect on my little business and there have been a few times this year when I have seriously considered giving up and closing. However, due to being annoyingly stubborn 😂 and the fact that I have worked so hard at this and love it too much to give it up completely, I decided instead to retrain so I can work alongside doing Bubblestorm. Many of my lovely regular customers know my personal situation, my reason for going back into education and how important what I am doing is to me and I’m very happy that I start my new job tomorrow 🥰 … continued in comments
