A Little Clarification ❤️

We just wanted to clear up a little confusion, as we’ve had a few customers asking about our new opening hours and what we’re becoming.

We are NOT closing during the day and reopening in the evening as a wine bar. 🍷

We are simply renaming and evolving the business, as we’re so much more than just a sandwich shop!

Monday–Wednesday:
Breakfast and lunch served until closing 15.00 in the restaurant
🥪 Freshly prepared sandwiches available throughout the day for take away
🍷 Bar open throughout the day

Thursday–Saturday:
Breakfast, lunch and evening meals in the restaurant
🥪 Freshly prepared sandwiches available throughout the day for take away
🍷 The bar will be open throughout the day and into the evening

Sundays:
We will be opening one Sunday a month for our delicious Sunday brunch and lunch
🍷 Bar open throughout the day

Our sandwiches will still be freshly prepared each morning and available throughout the day for take away only— but we’ll also be offering much more alongside them.

So, to reassure all our regular customers, we’re not disappearing during the daytime! We’re simply growing, changing and offering you more. ❤️

🎉 EXCITING NEWS FROM LUNCH AT LOAFERS! 🎉

We’re making some exciting changes at 44 Bore Street!

🥪 Our sandwich counter is changing

Due to rising costs, from Monday 13th September our sandwiches will be freshly made each morning, with many of your favourite fillings still available, alongside lots of other quick snacks.

Our current sandwich counter closes Saturday 5th September, so pop in and grab your favourite before then!

🔨 We’ll then be closed 7th–12th September while we transform the space.

🍸 And then… welcome to 44 Bore Street!

From Sunday 13th September, we’ll be reopening with our brand-new bar, serving cocktails, wine and draft beer.

We’ll be open Monday -Saturday mornings & days, also we will be opening Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings, with a new evening menu, once a month Sunday lunches and exciting events including:

🍸 Cocktail & bottomless events
🎨 Painting evenings
💍 Jewellery & craft making
🧠 And maybe even a quiz or two!

💙 Our very own Alice is taking on an incredible challenge to support diabetes awareness!

From July through to September, Alice is aiming to complete an amazing 500,000 steps to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) – an invisible, lifelong chronic condition.

Alice was diagnosed with T1D at just 12 years old. After starting high school, what seemed like a normal Monday quickly became one of the scariest days of her life. In an instant, everything changed, and she had to learn how to navigate life with a condition that never takes a day off.

This is the reality of living with Type 1 Diabetes. While it’s often invisible to others, it’s something that requires constant management, every single day.

We’re incredibly proud to support Alice and her determination to raise awareness, educate others, and help ensure that no one living with T1D feels like they’re facing it alone. 🩷

To give our amazing team the chance to get home and enjoy the game, we’ll be closing the kitchen at 2:30pm today and the takeaway counter at 2:45pm.
