As we finally retire and hand over the business on Saturday 1st April we wish to remind customers that the card stall will continue as usual providing excellent cards at great value. Only the name and ownership will change.
We have regrettably run down the existing stock as we finish our tenure so have not always had the stock we would normally carry. We see this as a short term problem until the new owners take charge and ask that you give them time to get settled, up and running as they have a lot to consider at the start of their journey.
Thank you all for your custom and friendship over the past 7 years and we wish the new owners every success for the future.

Can we add our final thanks to our wonderful customers and friends who have supported us through the last 7 years, here at Leyland market. Friday 31st march will be our last trading day before we finally retire.
No doubt we have left the business in safe hands with Leanne and we hope you will continue to support her as you have with us.
Once again a huge thank you from us both for your custom and friendship during our time here in Leyland. It has been a privilege and pleasure to be here at Leyland market and we wish each and every one of you the very best for the future. You the people have made our stay a real pleasure. and indeed a privilege THANK YOU ALL

Thanks to everyone for your fabulous custom and support during the last 7 years. Its been a real pleasure to be a part of the Leyland market.
We have now sold the business and the New owners take over from the 1st of April. We hope they can continue your valuable support and enjoy the friendships we have built over the past 7 years. As many of you know we are forced to retire due to ill health rather than anything else but all good things must come to an end. Thank you again for your custom. The new owners are local and have experience in a retail background, we have introduced them to our current wholesalers and we hope you notice little overall change to the business. continue to give them the fantastic support you have given to us and we wish them, and each and every one of you a happy, healthy, and fantastic future.
We are still here until 31st March, though our stocks are a little depleted we still have an extensive range and a ready smile so come and see us if only to say goodbye and please continue to support the new owners as they get to grips with the business

We are advertising our business for sale. ( ADore Cards) A successful & profitable greeting card business based in the Leyland market. Operating for the last 7 years, we have established a successful business. but due to the ill health of both myself & my wife, ( cancer & a heart condition) we have decided we must retire gracefully. If you are interested visit us anytime or call 07810 834 843, or e-mail [email protected] for details. We are open Tues Fri & Sat but will be available on any other day for viewings if required. Operating profit is currently around £17000 pa and the books are available to view anytime, though at the moment we are doing the accounts or rather preparing the books for our accountant. All are welcome, anytime, no obligation ask as many questions as you like. We are based in Northcote St Leyland. This is usually a busy provincial market and parking is available ( payable) at the rear. Given sufficient notice, we can arrange some free parking on most days. Just let us know! After a fairly busy Christmas and New Year we are again promoting our sale of the business. We have managed to sell quite a bit of stock and have reduced the selling price, to just £6000 including all existing stock fixtures and fittings and of course the goodwill. We will regardless of anything, sadly finish our tenure at Leyland market in March of this year! This has been a very profitable business over the past 7 years and we will be sad to leave but health must come first and we have reached the decision to retire due to our combined health problems of cancer and heart conditions. We have turned a profit, every single year since we took over in 2016 and have no reason to believe this will not continue. This is a sound business at a good price and we hope to sell as a going concern. If not we must regrettably close at the end of March regardless and wish all our customers, past and present a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
In the meantime, our half-price sale on all cards continues until we end our tenure in March so come on down and grab a bargain! Its been wonderful to meet and serve each and every one of you and but for our ill health, we would love to continue. Best wishes to each and every one of you. Thanks for everything. Anne & Dave

The business is still for sale although we have been somewhat busy over Christmas so have not re advertised for a while. The new asking price is £8000, to include trading rights, all existing stock fixtures and fittings etc. Our sole reason for retirement is Ill health. My wife has had cancer, and I have a heart condition. The business has returned a steady profit every single year. As our accountant would be willing to testify. So if you fancy running your own part time business??? We're happy to introduce you to our suppliers and accountants should you need them!

From now until the end of March we are holding a closing down sale!
All cards are half price and many other items are also reduced in price. After 7 fantastic years and due to I'll health for both of us, we have decided to finally retire and enjoy a rest. Our thanks go to our fantastic customers without whom we couldn't have survived. We wish you all good health. Meanwhile we are here until the end of March, (end of the tax year)and the sale continues until then. As long as stocks last. Come on down, say hello, grab a bargain and we hope to see as many of you as possible. Thanks for a memorable 7 years.

With Christmas fast approaching, we need to buy Christmas stock, and so whilst not removing the stall form sale ,we are no ,longer actively promoting it. Christmas is after all our busiest period and requires all our attention! We will return to promoting the sale once Christmas is over. However, If your still interested please ask at the stall, in the meantime we wish you all a very merry Christmas. LOL
